| Ground for new stereo?

Installing a new stereo in dash and wondering what I can hook the ground to? Do i have to run it to the neg battery terminal? Or maybe the steering column? Any help is appreciated!

Run it to a negetive wire or negetive battery terminal. Boats ain't like cars. You don't want it to try and derive a ground from metal parts in the boat. This can also cause electrolysis problems.

I have no tunes on the SkunkBoat. I have that argument with my brother every trip. "you need some tunes on this boat". I like the quiet, sound of waves & birds.... Down in Pompano he has the radio on all day....same songs every hour.... I've picked up those bluetooth speakers many times, stared at 'em, put em back on the shelf...
