Default me Spearfishing...barcuda fail video

Shot a really big baraccuda on the bouy yesterday. I made a bad shot with my smaller gun and an epic battle of finesse insued. He ultimately came off the spear . here is some video.

Lots of folks eat cuda... Stick to the smaller ones tho to avoid poisoning.

Cuda is excellent eating, very white firm flesh. They do have a very distinct smell when you catch them.

We use them mostly for bottom bait for deep dropping for tile fish. But they are edible in cooler northern waters. And good to eat.
