I saw this boat today, didn't look too close but I plan on going back by if someone wants info. Looked like a mid 80's boat, maybe 90's. Galvanized trailer. add says stringers all redone. Doug

GB, Did you see the boat in the flesh? What was your impression as to general condition? Thanks.

Matters what part of Moss Point you go to Trout, strange town. But a guy from NOLA like you knows there are worse places. I hang out with friends in Algiers, same thing parts are great, other parts....
Yes, saw the boat in the flesh & talked to the owner, looked good, but I didn't spend much time with it. I am already looking to buy a truck and outboard from the guy. Likely go there today if the truck is fixed.

yea you right bubba! i dont know moss point well enough to go anywhere over there unarmed. but then again... i dont go much of anywhere these days unarmed, and i stay alert no matter where i am, sad as that is.
nola is weird and much different since katrina. use to be all about clans there. old family properties. thats why you could be walking in a prominent neighborhood, cross the street and be in the ghetto and in danger. two blocks later, youre safe again! you could navigate safely if you knew your way. now all those clans are scattered or gone. for the record, havent lived in nola since i was a small kid. place still holds a piece of my heart but, what that place has become, i wouldnt give a squirt of pi$$ for the whole town. all it has going for it is a beautiful history but now that history is being erased and replaced with a "chocolate city" (their words) "beware of tolerance. what ever youre willing to tolerate today is what you will have to live with tomorrow"-Hemmingway |

Never been down that way Trout, but Savannah is similar in a lot of ways.
I like your Hemingway quote, the thing is back in his day he was actually a liberal. Shows how much further down the drain the country has gone.
