Default Winter V21 " to do list"

Made up a quick list of V21 related things to do during the winter here in New Jersey.

Listed 17 items real quickly so likely more to include.
Complete each, cross off move on.

Trailer, boat, motor....... will keep me busy during time available.

I just got my V in Sept so I only got to use it about 10 times until I had to put it to bed. I have a huge list which keeps growing. I was planning on doing it all in the early spring but the super warm Nov/Dec we had here in NY allowed me to get a lot done.

I replaced the dead drum brakes with Kodiak SS disks on the front axle of the trailer, Bennett M120s on the transom, Harbor Freight windlass, side bunks and walk boards on the trailer, stereo in the dash, new fuse blocks and terminal strips, anchor pulpit and mooring bit, porta potty for my bride, etc. I think the best part is the satisfaction of crossing the things off the list! In retrospect I wouldn't have been able to get to half of this stuff in the spring so the warm weather was a true gift. At this point the only big projects remaining before the season starts is painting the deck, a new bimini top and impeller/tstats in the Merc.

I think I have read almost every post in the mods section of the forums and I can't thank you all enough for all of the insight and ideas. I would't have even scratched the surface on this stuff without all your help. THANK YOU !

JV,if you doing w pump & t-stats, might want to throw a new poppet valve in also. You guys might not have the salt we have, but they get pretty crusty and are usually overlooked. Easy to change, biggest pia is getting the cowling pan off. If you have an older model with the clamshell. Easy to get to.
