Default Fishing report NJ

Well last week sucked at Shrewsbury rocks, skunked.

Night at Rt 35 bridge Manasquan, skunked. Then to add insult to injury, tied up back at dock, 5 lb stripers crashing clouds of tiny bait between my motor and the dock. They were also behind Capt Pete's boat a couple slips down

Halloween afternoon sucked outside Manasquan Inlet from the beach out to 80ft, acres of bait,no fish...skunked.

Heading out Monday morning solo to look for stripers again. Wednesday heading to Shark River Reef with $40 in clam to CATCH Black Sea Bass.

Monday morning. Beautiful boat ride.
Snag&drop live bunker from Manasquan to Long Branch.

What's the limit on spiny dogfish???

Not a bluefish or bass in sight.

Oh wow that sucks. I have been told by quite a few people that the stripers are active throughout the marina at night. I went out Sunday most of the day and didn't get anything either. I talked to a few people that got a fish here and there but it's very sketchy. I hope it gets more consistent soon.

Talking Thanksgiving fish

Stripershttps://youtu.be/cxms1DW29gU

Humpback whale https://youtu.be/pCvIHSW4zqk

Went south to Lavalette & Seaside Heights again.
Caught a 39" and 36" bass and lost quite a few little ones that couldn't eat a big bunker. Then watched a couple humpbacks feeding on bunker.

Went north out of MI early am, trolled up a dozen or so monster bluefish off spring lake, looked around all day for bass, no dice
The inlet was pretty squirrelly on the way in but nice day on the water

I heard that the old guys in the pontoon boat flipped and some died.
