Anyone have any info on this boat? I'm not crazy about the motor but the hull looks really nice.

other than being a thirsty 2 stroke, aint nothin wrong with a 2.5l mercury. good engine except for the oil injection, and he says its already removed. no knowledge of that particuliar boat though, somebody else here may reckognize it. looks nice in the pics though.

That is my boat. I recently upgraded to a 23 Seacraft so the V20 has to go. I was planning to post an ad here, but you beat me to it :)

As others have already said, the Mercury 2.5L 2 stroke EFI is a solid motor. Plenty of go, and more user friendly then its carbureted counterpart. 4stroke it is not, but for the guy on a budget - it is a lot of bang for the buck!

I have owned this boat about a year and a half. Before me, a older gentlemen in Huntsville Alabama owned it. He owned it for several years and seldom used it because of health issues. I believe the boat is originally from the Richmond Virginia area.
Once I got it I replaced the batteries, cleaned the fuel tank, replaced the bilge pumps, redid some of the wiring, and serviced the motor. More recently I installed all new electronics. If I had to guess, I have put about 100 hours on it in the last year and a half. I have had zero issues.

I use this boat almost every weekend and so the gas is fresh, and the batteries are charged. Its is ready to go!

If you have any questions about the boat, ask away!

That's funny. I thought I had seen pictures of it before. I have an 85 step lift right now but it's not in as good of shape as yours appears to be. Anyone know if the floor height on the 89 is the same as 85? I really like the floor height on my 85 but I've been on other v20's that had a higher floor and I didnt care for that.

A couple questions:
What is the "partial enclosure" that goes w/ the bimini?
What mpg do you get at cruise speed?
Where are the batteries located?
