Default Any Engineers out there

So, my Son graduated from the University of Maryland last month as an Aerospace Engineer. Job hunting has been tough in this economy with thousands of applicants for every opening.
He is looking for work in any engineering field, anything obviously involved in Aero or Airline etc. would be ideal but he can work in multi disciplines with his degree and is very open to to any suggestions any of you fellows might have.
He is a great guy and very smart, hopefully something opens up for him soon. Besides he eats to much for me to keep him here much longer:)

Boeing has been running adds down here for engineers in the aero field. they are expanding their facility at the airport two fold and building numerous off site facilities. It gets hot down here but at least we are a free state compared to Maryland and Jersey

I know 5-6 people who work for Gulfstream here in Savannah. All different levels of the company, all say it's a great company to work for.

He can also look into Electric Boat in Groton CT. We are always hiring engineers. He will have to apply online. Don't get too specific on the job description just something that fits his degree and resume'. New jobs are posted all the time. Follow up with HR to make sure his application is in the system and constantly get a status update from them. They tend to provide lip service and not always much action. Be a pita with them. Let me know if he applies. We can try to keep visibility of the resume once it is in the system.

Regards
