so my wife has been helping me forever when putting new line on. complains about it every time. I decided after all these years to build a line spooler. something to hold and put tension on line spools while putting line on reels. what do you guys use and posting pictures would be great.

I always put the spool in a shoe box and throw a towel over the line

ok...... was looking for something with a little more tech but that's one way to go.

Well like many things in life.... You can spend as much as you want to.
Depending on the style of reel I either let the spool turn or let the line loop off the side. |
