Smile It's not over.......maybe

Nov 23 the bite was on up and down the NJ coast with blues and bass.

So with fish still north and south, they MAY still be around after this Wed / Thurs NorEaster.....

Meaning, I'm looking at going Friday or Saturday, with the NW / W wind to flatten out the 1st 1/2 mile of ocean front. We'll see how the marine forecast shapes up.

The V21 likes this weather, that's right.....the boat actually enjoys being out on the ocean this time of year. How do I know ? It's how the boat rides man, it's obvious.

Likely last trip yesterday, turned LEFT out of Sh Riv Inlet and straight up to off Sandy Hook Beaches.

Found bird action and lots of short bass, a triple header on the umbrella rig, plus got a few on light rod with jigs.

Trolled out closer to the channel and got a nice fat 29" fish for the box.

Flat ocean, ran back up the beach 3/4 fuel, enclosure up, 3,900 rpm was approx 28 knots with a little down tab. Smooth easy ride back.

V weather out there vs freezing on my previous center console !
