Default Extricate me from black cloud please

Somebody please help me to shake this rash of bad luck. PLEASE

First and Foremost: Noone was injured, Thank the lord! Blessed be the man that can complain on a Monday morning. Healthy enough to go and do something, family there to share in my misery. OK OK Self-inflicted crap.. sucks too..So here it is...
Stopped at the Treasure Camp Resturant on the Suwannee River this past weekend. Six of us went up river in the Wellcraft for swimming and lunch. I paid for lunch, wet shorts and a shirt with no front pocket caused me to simply carry my wallet in my hand. Upon departure I was distracted for a moment and left the wallet on the t-top of the boat. It flew off sometime after getting on plane to come home as evidenced by the photo insert that we did find floating down the Suwannee.. So all was not lost, in fact I got the only thing that wasn't replaceable, pictures of my wife, daughter when she was a baby and family. Roughly 12' water depth, no GPS coordinates and a 4MPH current. Did I mention there was a substantial sum of money in said wallet? Yes I have outdone myself again. $700.00 +/-
then
I stepped onto NV (another boat) to discover it has 2 bad batteries, a bad trolling motor (again), the Lowrance GPS/Depth finder won't even power up, the cig/chart lighter is broken and the throttle and shift cables are 80% froze up.. BOAThousand...
then
Threw another set of bearings out of a hub on the port rearmost axle on the Wellcraft trailer (had everything but a new axle nut to repair the axle, axle nut was nowhere to be found and West Marine (out), O'Riley, Auto Zone, Pep Boys and Home Depot don't carry a 1" axle nut. Took one off a buddy of mine's trailer to get mine back together and home) That 3.5 trip home turned into a 7.5 hour trip with a wild goose hunt in the middle.
Finally got to work to find the computers were whacked by a power spike/outage. We lost a good bit of data.. but the surge protectors and battery backups did their jobs.. so all was not lost there.
then
Almost forgot, I caved in the speaker cover/housing on an 8" Pioneer this weekend. Was bent over trying to stowe the boarding ladder when I planted my knee into the speaker grill. It went "Crunch" The sun has it all dry-rotted and a weatherproof replacement for the 8" cutouts are few and far between.

On a brighter note, the weather was nice and the freshwater fish were biting: caught 17 bream(mix of Stumpknocker, Red Belly and Bluegill) and 5 channel cats. Cricket fishing under a cork using my trout rod, a 2500 Shimano spinning reel (Old Stradic) and a light action 7' G-Loomis cheapy. LOL! Therapy to be sure, just not enough of it to balance off all the bad juju.

The way Salt Life has caught fire, maybe "BOAT LIFE" Will be next thing trending. So after capitalizing on the windfall from the sale of "Boat Life" gear, I will devise a jump seat arrangement for the pick-up truck. Every time we come to a stop I will have my man-servant jump out and give the trailer bearings a fresh shot of axle grease and take the temperature so we can see when a failure is coming.

LOL! "Remember the last laugh is on you" I haven't seen that movie since I was 13. Remember - "None shall pass"
"Better, Better bring a bucket" Love them all.

Speakers are found, fairly cheap too ($85/pair). The Pioneer 8" speakers sound awesome with a fairly low wattage Pioneer head unit.

Things are always brighter when the sting and shock of the initial screw-up starts to fade away.

I'm starting to feel the same way right about now. I had to have a driveshaft built for the BURB earlier this week because I twisted mine. This was a 3 1/2" steel .086 wall shaft that they said you will never hurt, well I twisted it. That set me back $427 to have a new shaft built(4 1/2" aluminum this time which is what I SHOULD have gotten the 1st go round). And today my lift pump quits working, so that is going to cost me $110+ shipping for a replacement motor. It wouldn't be ab ig deal except I spent the extra money to buy a pump rated for 40,000 hours, and I doubt I have more than 1500 hours on it in 45,000 miles.

Hey Ferm, if it will make you feel better, I've got over $1000 in my front driveshaft assembly( 2 piece shaft, 1410 yokes and solid joints, fabricated mid bearing assembly) for my buggy and all its doing right now is collecting dust

Just bummed that I was supposed to have a bullet proof shaft, and I twisted it. I hope this aluminum shaft is what he promised me it would be. If a 5 inch .063 walled stock shaft holds up at 71 inches, then at 53 inches a 4 1/2" .115 walled shaft SHOULD do the trick. But it was like pissing away $427 since I had ALREADY paid to have a bullet proof shaft built. And a 40,000 hour pump failing at a fraction of it's rated life was just icing on the cake. Oh well, gotta pay to play.
