Default Wiring diagram / schematic

...Hi!....I have a 1986 V20 Steplift with an Evinrude 185 (1990). I'm getting her sorted before taking her out for the first time here in the Outer Banks. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for me to check out please? It all looks pretty straight forward but could save me a day or three of head scratching.....I have several defunct switches and guages and my tilt has decided to operate on its own!

You can find most original schematics online. Problem is that used boats are notorious for having wires corroding and new wires replacing them. My point is that almost every boats wiring is changed from the original in someway, and there's really no way of telling what wires you have in your boat. I've found that the easiest thing to do is rewire everything, using common sense as the basic blueprint. (Understand, I'm talking about add on equipment, not your engines wire harness).

....yeah I suppose the main thing is to make sure everything is fused correctly....it can't be too difficult to rewire.....I found this schematic online, is it pretty standard do you think?

I have an 87' with an outboard and I found this diagram to be spot on for my boat. These diagrams came directly from Wellcraft (not to me) , But listen to Destroyer about previous owners changing things up a bit.
