Default 84' Wellcraft V20 $ ???

https://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/boa/4396876113.html

This is an ad I posted on Craigslist Friday evening. Just trying to get your opinion(s); is my pricing in line, too high, too low???? I have had normal interest in it and have scheduled some showings for this weekend but want to make sure that what offers may come my way are "honest". I do not know what the boat should be worth with the listed issues. All criticism/opinions are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

i'll be honest, I think your pricing, considering the soft floor is right on target. I don't think you'll have a problem dumping it and I certainly wouldn't take much less. looks like a nice clean boat.

I would say your price is on the high side if it was in my area. With the lower unit stuck on most are going to consider the engine a total loss, so all they are looking at is the boat and trailer. You admit the floor has some soft spots, so that is going to detract from the value as well. You do have an aluminum trailer working in your favor, but down here boats like that on Craigslst are in the $1500-2000 range. In all honesty most are going to pass it over with a known engine and floor problem, or they are going to make an offer and base it on a project boat price.

how much effort did you put into the foot removal? it might be worth it to take it to a pro, like ferm said, a stuck foot would be a deal breaker. does the trailer have torsion axels or leaf springs. that is a big difference also.
i do think the center consoles hold value more than the cuddys

good luck

That stuck foot might just be that one hidden bolt you missed. Your boat looks good, depending on how large the soft areas are would affect things in my opinion. That Owens and Sons aluminum slide on trailer is a nice one. I think $3500 is a good asking price for a clean boat with a running engine that needs a little work. Cleaning up the engine some and touching up the foot with some paint would help it. I wouldn't let it go for less than maybe $2800.
