The dusky is probably lighter, but I'd bet ridge's 250 xs is making more power than the v-rod, There's s not more weight on the v-rod also

I am stern heavy but I don't look like that until I have 9 people on board. LOL Two, 2.4L Bridgeports weight about the same as a Verado. Put them on the transom and you would certainly have a 70 + mph boat.
Over on CSC a guy had a 300 Verado on a 20' center console. I bet they both have their issues due to the overly weighted stern. Corky on the hook too I would guess. Can you say Snap Roll. That swim platform looks deformed and out of place until you put the boat in the water.

No compass reliant on magnetics is ever going to work atop that console with all those speakers, shielded or not. Wicked amounts of money went into the details on that rig. It would make a fine machine still with a little less weight hung back there. IMO the bracket was mounted too high for the floatation to be fully effective. It has to be displacing water to float not hanging out above the water.
I thought I was nuts.
