Default What was your highlight this season??

I have a bunch of health issues, but only got out 3 times last year But this year was able to get out at least 1 time a week!!
Had a great time with friends, and my son, he still has work to do, but he manged the boat, and was able to back the trailer in the water!!

Did not try as many things as I wanted to, and did not catch as many fish as I use to, but was able to get my 76 year old Dad out, and got to fish with some friends. All and all I had a great year!

I was more into it for the fun, then the commercial part that i was for years, and I had a great time! Just hope I have a boat when the spring comes??

Here is that we all get to do it again next year!!

Mine was meeting Chumbucket.

Translation: "rkc didn't have that great of a season" :(

Seriously, only got out and handfull of times, never caught any "prize fish". Probably the highlight was the raft-up where I got to meet Chum, rwilson, monketbutler and of course the "New and Improved MJ".

Otherwise my grandkids had a great time when I took them out and caught lots of scup.

kind of a weird year down here, still got to go out the couple of days every week, but the kids are grown, doing other things, working ,etc. so mostly my wife and me. kinda different. did not get to pompano fish like i usually do, no trolling for kings of spanish, then the rains came and washed out july & august. worst scallop season in st joe in 4 or 5 years.

but hey, any day in a boat is a great day.

Well i am right up there with dave (RKC) on the fun factor. All kidding aside my trip up there with the boat was fun....weather, boat, trailer and everything else cooperated that weekend.

Yes I would have to agree that we had a good time At the get together and hope we can do it again next year!! I most likely will need a ride as I will be boat less, but I am sure that's not going to be a issue

Has to be catching our first SkunkBoat Bluefin Tuna. Followed by our first SkunkBoat Cod. Especially since these were our targets and we ran far to get them.

Season is still going strong for us, been getting some really nice lings and other assorted rock fish! The salmon were being caught right up to the end and people are still pulling in 50 and 60 pound sea bass! Really wanted a nice halibut but haven't got one yet.
