The reason.
If I had to sum up why Obama won re-election I could do it in one word. Sure, there were lots of reasons, but really only one reason above all others.
Media They crucified Romney and gave Obama a pass on everything that might have cast a shadow on his chances. They never vetted him or his past associations. When he's told outright lies they don't report it. I could go on and on, but it's moot so why bother. But I'll say this.. If I were a dictator with absolute power I would have the heads of all the major "news" channels lined up against a wall and shot for treason, because that is exactly what they have done. The job of the news media is to REPORT the news, good, bad, or indifferent.. NOT make up stories and spins giving one guy a pass and villifying someone else. Yet that is exactly what they have been doing for a long time now and their power to shape the course of an election is undeniable. They, more than any other reason, are the reason that Obama got re-elected.

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic . Someone over there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do.
