I emailed him. I just wanted to know how many gallons his fuel tank holds since Dmoore said his pristine '96 held 70 gallons. He emailed me back - his is 60 gallons. I'm all hung up on this fuel thing cause mine is 60 gallons and for me 70 gallons would be absolutely perfect. Pffffft!

I'm right with you on this - and also believe the spec in 96' remained at 60 gallons.
I believe 80-100 gallons would be better so we could make those long runs without concern. Then again, I'm not really going to take my V21 60 + miles offshore, even with full safety gear. Three hours running each way ? And what if conditions deteriorate to 4'-6' chop ?

I'd rather go in a 61' Viking Sport Fishing boat equiped with fully stocked refrigerator / freezer, etc....... Problem is, I can't afford to even rent one of these boats, that's why I have a V21.

When I was redoing my floor I replaced all the hoses going to my tank. The manufactures plate on my tank said 70 gal.
