Dear Friends: There are less than 7 months until election day when the people will decide who will be the next President of the United States . The person elected will be the president of all Americans, not just the Democrats or the Republicans. It's time that we all need to come together, Democrats and Republicans alike. In a bi-partisan effort for America : If you will support Mitt Romney, please drive with your headlights ON during the day. If you support Barack Obama, please drive with your headlights OFF at night. Together, we can make it happen. Thank you!

as much as i dislike obama, this romney is a real piece of sh!t. he's a union busting scumbag. i would have supported any other republican running against obama but this i can not do.

WTH?!?!?!?! I did not capitalize obama and got the squiggly lines meaning i mispelled it. So i clicked it and the suggestion was "Obama". Keep in mind i am running Windows XP Pro that is six years old.

Between o and Romney is sort of like choosing a $2 hooker. they will both do you, but which one will do the least amount of damage to you in the process. Romney is nothing more than obama light though, so the choices are just as bad this go round as well.

Just my two cents among friends, Obama is a flat out socialist, with four more years of his big government control you will not recognize America. Your children will suffer the consequences of a nation gone from liberty and a Constitution hating POTUS.
The economy will crash, we will be right in line with the European socialist governments where the majority is dependent on the government for their very existence and will be willing to trade their liberties for more free sh!t from Obama's stash.
And yes the Republicans in general do not favor public sector unions that spend millions for the re-election of left wing zealots that can do anything they want to this nation as long as they support legislation that pushes union people further ahead of their civilian counterparts doing the same level work.
the people who are paying for these contracts pensions etc.
While I understand many in these unions feel they are being targeted, I also understand that the only real answer to these issues is a national right to work law in which people in the unions will have a choice on the matter of forced membership.
This of course is an outrage to the unions, sorry, it is as anti American as you can get to force and American to be in a union he does not agree with, pay money to be used to elect politicians he cannot stand under threat of first, lost of employment and second outright violence and thuggery if he wants to get out.
Obama and his ilk are literally destroying the fabric of this nation and are dividing us along color, ethnicity, religion and income levels.
They are doing it on purpose, it is called group and identity politics.
It is how a political group controls the people through distraction and envy of others.
We are better than that.
While I did not have Rommney as my first pick but he was the first pick of a majority of American's voting in the primaries and as they say that is that.
He is not perfect, but in my humble opinion he is so far ahead of the Great Divider as a leader and as someone who will turn around our economy that to pull the lever for a devout socialist in what may be the most important election in our nations history is as close to crazy as I have ever heard.
What single thing has the Obamination done in the past three in a half years that you feel has done something to further our nation, further our liberties, further our economy, reduce our debt. get the government out of the people's life, and bring our nation together?
Tough question huh?

no willy, not a tough question...... an impossible question. the man is history's most charming liar. he is truly out of his element as president. while i agree with 99% of what you wrote, quite frankly i wish they would both just go away.
that said i will vote for none of the above. that may be a wasted vote or favor one candidate over the other but i cannot, in good conscience, vote for either one of these a$$holes.
as far as "the people" paying for my pension and benefits, 6% of my weekly paycheck goes towards my pension. another 6% goes towards railroad retirement. 6% to my 401K and 457K. yes, for all those keeping count, i bring home 52% of my paycheck each week, after all the other deductions. yup. that's right. 48 percent of my paycheck goes to somebody else. and i havent had a pay raise in several years.
so really, obama...... romney...... they both blow. i'll take none of the above.

Sadly my friend we are often left with the lesser of two evils.
I wish a true Tea Party candidate had gotten the nod but as usual I did not get my wish.
I would say to you that there is one thing for certain that we all know. The socialist liar we have in now is destroying our nation. And not having to be answerable to the voters if he gets re-elected will go balls to the wall to stick us with that agenda.
We also know for sure we cannot go another year, let alone four with the out of control spending and monstrous debt we have now.
We also know that the Liar in Chief is in control of the most expansive seizure of power by the federal government in our history and just in the promulgation of regulations alone we as a nation are suffering.
So if no reasons other than these we can agree on, I would like to make a friendly suggestion to you.
If you can't vote for an individual because he does nothing for you, at least vote against what is destroying us.
Every man and woman in this country that values what our nation stands for, what our fore fathers fought for and for the future generations chance at having the American Dream, needs to get into the booth this November and kill the track to European Socialism. That is the cliff we are about to spiral into.
We cannot leave the next generation that inheritance after what we have been given.

Charlie, just curious, why do you support unions? It seems that with the creation of OSHA, EPA, and laws against discrimination based on race, sex, and AGE the unions serve as a redundant, outdated system to fall back on when the system itself fails. To ME it seems you are taking your job security away from corporate management and placing it in your union bosses hands who will determine when you will work.

With all of the money you put into savings every week, why do you not just buy stock in the company you work for? If their policies are such that you need the union to protect you from their corporate greed, you could benefit from that greed on the backside through dividends. Maybe you do now and if so it would seem you would be in a quandry with your union.

I have family that live in New Jersey and rely on the unions to put them on the docks in Philly where they haul cargo so what I know of unions is probably very different than your life's experiences so I would like to hear your side of what unions do for you.
