You wouldn't catch me up there on a boat the size of a V20.

I am a bit more tippy than I want to be with a T-top. Pics, please, post pics. There was a boat for sale a while back by BenFishin that had a tower. Before I made the leap I would have to ask the owner of a tower boat his opinion. Might need to reinforce the mounting points, depending on design. Don't forget Clearance issue with trailered tower boats. I don't think I could live with a tower on my V as I am land locked and travel great distance to get to the water. Then again some fold forward for clearance.

Default tower

Heres a pick of a guy on the hull truth forum. I know its not a tuna tower but it does give a height comparison

I have no experience with tuna towers, but I would be worried that putting that much weight up high on a boat as small as a V-20 would cause the boat to roll a lot more when sitting still at sea, maybe even to the point of rolling over.

How much does the tower weigh?

8 ft wide, so you are mounting to gunnel height not deck? 11 ft is way up there! My boat on the trailer with the hard top is 11 ft high from the ground. My hard top gives me 6'10" headroom but it is maybe 4 ft tall???

I don't find that my V is tippy but I'm not standing up there.

That's a lot of weight to be putting that high up on a 20....squirrely at best with a 200lb person up there. I think it might work, but I don't think I'd like to be on the boat. Gotta agree with Reel.
