Hank III
I'm not a fan of all of his stuff, but some of his country is really good stuff. I've recently gotten hooked to his rebel country as some call it, and can't stop listening to it. He turned out like his granddad, even looks like him. Thought I would share some of his stuff I can't stop listening to. I would avoid his stuff he does with as-sjack(remove the dash) as it is pretty hard stuff, but alot of his stuff is just good country music not like this hip hop crap they call country now.

His lyrics are interesting but can't handle the voice generally.

I've been listening to Hank III for years, I also like his band A**jack. I am a metal head though and generally cannot stand country except the classics.

I agree with Willy in that his voice isn't his best attribute. I do like his songwriting\melodies\guitar playing and sound overall. Glad to see back to basics instead of pop country...
Sort of like a Neil Young thing, great songwriter but a not a smooth voice. I also tried a listen to As-jack, Tennessee driver?, little too in your face for me. rkc
