| Joining 1 inch SS tubing

I need to join two pieces of 1" SS rail tubing. I rather not go to the time and expense of welding. Does anyone know where I can get a 1' straight coupling. I have done a thorough internet search and can't find one. Any good ideas? Thanks |

Might want to try going to a piping shop and see if you can get a bit of 1-1/4" SS tubing. You might be able to get a sleve type fit then just drill a few holes then run some SS bolts through it. Might work? Or if you don't mind a bulky look try a SS Swedge Lock Compression fitting I use them all the time for running SS tubing. And thanks for not showing us a bruins logo!

Found this which should work dimensionally but is only available in aluminum. Rednecks ideas are good too....dimensionally a piece of 1" ss pipe would work as well as long as its sch 40 (1.049" id) but only problem is it wont be polished ss.

ACE Hardware sells them as a bolt-able pipe clamp. I just used one last month when a crossbar on my T-top snapped. Has 4-bolts and a peice of neoprene to prevent slippage when tightening. Worked well and was very strong. I'll see if I can get you a stock number. Couldnt get a pic but if you go to an ACE store the SKU number is 41834.
