Skools: The reason I ask is that a friend of mine is about to freighter his sport fishie down to Costa Rica permanently but will fish the big rock driving someone elses boat but I dont know which one yet but I will get up with him this weekend. Me and the little wifie will be passing out brochures on his boat on that mid week promotional night where they have all the deep pockets guys wandering around from boat to boat telling BS fish tales etc and there will be plenty of liqBlack Jack ..Once I have the details I will email ya and see if we can meet up. On another note if the winds lay down the fish are there and some big ones. All you boys have to do is catch them. I went out again as a mate yesterday (i'm too old for this 4 to 6 foot seas sh##) on a sport fishie for another friend of mine and we got 11 Mahi to 24 pounds and three small Wahoo all around 15 pounds BUT we had one monster Wahoo come through two big bull dolphin which were playing grab *** with a green daisy chain and the fight was on but he never stopped and the client lost him. He did everything right but thats the fishing business. He ran off about 200 yards of 100lb line and when he tried to turn him that was it, he ran hard for the boat and threw the hook. I dont know much about wahoo but they hit like a freight train and you have no wiggle room if they run for the boat...The Captain got a good look at him and thought he would easily run 50-60 pounds...Frank

Skools: No I wont be in it (other than the free drinks part and handing out cards) and yes I have seen some activity .I was set up for cobia right at the hook of shackelford this morning at sun up and 4 big sport fishies that I've never seen before ran the inlet right behind each other heading for the big rock..A red hull 57 viking, a green hull Jarrett Bay 60 and what looked like an older Buddy Harris and I'm not sure on the other one. They were all on channel 12 and out of towners but I could not see the hull numbers..Even though I joke about these guys I am a big fan of anything that can help support the economy of these little coastal towns..Frank

Skools: Sorry I did not get up with ya but my friend ended up driving the Celebration with a different crew rather than his boat this year so we did not get an invite to join in on the festivities..I did see the Bac-Bar come in with his big fishie...Better luck next year...Frank
