| Something a few of us should do for the old V20s.

These guys are doing something with another old classic hull that would be cool to see done with our hulls. I always hate to hear about old hulls being cut up and taken to the dump or abandoned. http://www.hammerheadlivewell.com/ I volunteer to be in charge of old hull procurement. LOL!

They are down here by me. I looked closely at their baitwell/leaning post. There is a cottage industry in Florida rebuilding the old flatback center consoles for hardcore Tarpon chasing and sight fish guiding. Coarsey Brothers, Van Wagoner Boats, just about every fiberglass shop in Florida for that matter. The Old Pro 24' is a favorite because Proline boats was located in Crystal River right up the road. You can go out and buy a new Dorado or you take the same $$$ and throw into one of the old hulls and have a custom machine built to your specifications. They rip them down to the outer shell, straighten the hull and put new stringers in. My uncle had a 24' Pro dual console with 235 Evinrude that would run out over 60MPH and do it in 12" or less water. Perfect for creeks, flats, off-shore duty on the West Coast of FL. Coarsey brothers do nice work, they freshened up my mom's Stumpknocker 17' twice now.
