I just ordered my trim tilt motor for my 85 Johnson 150. Getting ready to install it, is there anything i need to watch out for? I assume i just bolt the new motor on and top off the trim tilt fluid i lost. Correct? I cleaned some paint chips out that fell into the hole today and the filter and gasket came up, but i didn't see which way it went. Does the filter side of the filter go up or down? And does the gasket go on top of the filter or below it?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Tilt-...mZ400223984949 Thank you Destroyer, and you are correct, the gasket fits on top. And after fitting it in the hole it fits around the "hub" (the thing in the hole that has the gear drive and is surrounded by a "moat" of tilt trim fluid.) I beleive that it goes with the filter up. I have included a picture showing how i think it goes back together, and also a picture without the filter. I hate it when stuff comes apart like that without knowing which way to reassemble. The same thing happened when i broke a cv joint on my atv. I went through two cv joints before finally getting it back together again.
