| Aquasport 215 DC Update

Since buying the boat in December, I've done a ton of work. I posted a couple of pictures in an older post, heres a couple on the water. I've replaced the following; Floor Hatch and all stainless pulls All new snaps on boat for cover Coaming Cushions Flush Mounted GPS and Vhf Cupholders Rod holder liners New Rockford Fosgate Stereo with IPOD controll New Fusion Speakers Stereo Cover Seat Re-Upolstered New Trailer Rollers New OEM Decals Removed old Graphics New Cutting Board Compound and wax The only thing left is bottom paint. I need to take more pictures, but heres two from last weekend. The boat is great for the kids it has a bow area thats big enough for 3 adults to sit comfortably and has seating for 8. I'm enjoying the new boat but still miss my V-20, she was my first real fishing boat and I also put a ton of work into her before selling. Hope everyones is having a nice Summer and have a good July 4th. Island by Mulv80, on Flickr Island 2 by Mulv80, on Flickr I picked this cutting board up on Ebay for $40 shipped and its awesome. It allows me to stand while I cut bait and holds my knife, piers, and even has cup holders. cutting board by Mulv80, on Flickr Island 2 by Mulv80, on Flickr |

Really Nice! It's like a V21 bowrider. Beautiful job, your hard work really shows.

I beleive this belongs in the "Off Topic" section. LOL just giving you because everybody gave MJ a hard time about the Sea Box. Your boat looks awesome. Not sure about cupholders on the bait board, i see something bad happending. What kind of speed numbers are you getting?

Thanks for the compliments guys. Buckley, your V-21 is sweet. I've admired it in the gallery. I'd like to hang an Etec on the back of the Aquasport. My plan is to run the Ocean Pro till she dies and then hang a 225 Etec on her and usethe existing rigging and controls. Jason, I can hit 42 mph half fuel with me and one other person. Fully loaded persons and gear it maxes out around 37. The boat is heavy, around 3000 lbs. dry, no gear or fuel. The 200 Ocean Pro has plenty of power but a little extra would be nice. I'm working on the wife for an Etec but thats hopefully sometime down the road as long as the Ocean Pro is running good. |
