Monday with the wife unit
Took off work and took my bride to DI for a few hours.Pulled the net and caught some nice shrimp, pogies and croakers for bait. Managed a slot red, little black drum and several white trout. She caught several small blacktips as well.
  Took her to Katrina "close" because she hasnt seen it yet. Since its got closed up. (For those that dont know thats where Katrina cut the west end of Dauphin Island in half and the powers that be decided it would be good use of BP oil money to close it up with jetty rocks. Millions of $$'s later and now theres a mile of rocks joining it back together.) Here she is pondering life (or probably why she married me.) :mrgreen:  Seen five BIG black drum feeding in the shallows but couldnt make em eat. The red went on the smoker right directly too.
