Default Oil/fuel leak ?

Is it normal to have a little line of oil coming out of the cover seal of the outboard after it has been tilted in the up position for a long time ? The outboard was rebuilt and I only put 10 Hrs. on it last season running double oil. Just ran it for the first time the other day. Took a while to get it to stay running. Then today I see oil coming down my transom.

If the motor has carbs it is not that uncommon for the float bowls to leak upon fully tilting the motor. If it is oil injected, the oil reservoir under the cowl should not leak no matter what the trim angle. Take the cover off and inspect. The cover should go right back on and latch in place after cleaning and inspection.
