Default Anchor roller

Here is my quicky anchor roller and mini pulpit. I picked the roller assembly off ebay pretty cheap it ended being a little smaller than I thought, but it works well. The pulpit is a piece of Trex decking (what else?, ha). The Trex flexes a little when pulling on the anchor with the motor, I was going to add a second layer of Trex but it seems ok so I will leave it for now. It made it through all last season and isn't sagging so I think it's ok.

And here is my new anchor! It wont go thru the roller though, at least I hope!

Very nice. Nice looking Tat, too. A classic.

Just curious. Why the electrical tape on the bow rail?

The electrical tape started out as a little protection from my winter cover support board for the bow a couple years ago. Now I use it to align the boat on the trailer, it gives me a good center mark. I used to have a broken rod tip attached to the winch stand on the the trailer and I would just line the two up until they touched. But now with the anchor up there, the rod doesn't work anymore.

I replaced all the rollers on the trailer and the boat self centers better than it used to. I guess I could take the tape off now. But I kinda like it.

If you worked with Trex then you know it isn't structural. The 2x6Trex will hold it for a while. Worst case it breaks and you have to re-do, at least you won't loose the roller. I like your enginuity. I must configure something for my boat. Current anchor ain't cutting it.

hmmmm...I'd be weary of using trex in that manner. They make it clear that it is for decking, not structural support.

I went the extra $ for the tilting roller and it works great
