A very good friend of mine owns a fuel cleaning business out of Collington N.C. He pumps out the diesel fuel from the charter boats, cleans the tanks and complete fuel system and filters and treats the fuel before pumping it back into the tanks. He also services gas boats of all sizes. I asked him about the problems everyone has had with E10 gas and he recomends GAS-SHOK with Water-Sorb, its made by USA FUEL SERVICE. Its a water absorber and fuel stabilizer. It stops phase sepration in E10-E85. It stabilizes fuel, adds lubrication, cleans tanks, and reduces emissions. He said it raises the octane level around 7 percent. One quart treats 320 gallons or 1 oz, treats 10 gallons. He told me that he uses it all the time with exceptional results. I looked it up and its sold on the web. Ya'll fellas with the outboards should consider giving it a try. I'd been using Stabil and it helps, but he said it dosen't last, and is no comparison to Gas-Shok.

Cool... I'll look it up and see if anyone around here sells it locally. Always in the market for anything that helps with the E10 crap. Thanks for the tip.
