Default Pepe Rides Again!

Here we are on a picnic at Tarpaulin Cove, halfway down the Vineyard Sound side of Naushon Island. Everything's running smoothly on our ancient, much beloved V!

Your "ancient" 74 is 30 years younger than me, and I'm just hitting my stride, so she's got a lot of life and good times left in her...

(Nice post) :)

Nice! Looks like you had a nice day. That was Saturday?

Just curious where you put in. Your tag says you're from CT...

Nice pictures!
Tarpaulin's is one of our favorite haunts.

Looks pretty busy.

Are the cattle still roaming close to the beach?
Last time we were there (9/20/09?) we saw cattle just off the beach.

Default Thanks for all the Feedback

Yes, there are still cattle roaming in Tarpaulin Cove. Although I live in Connecticut, my mother lives on the Cape, so we sponge off her as much as possible in the summertimes. We inhabit Woods Hole, and keep our marine stuff (boats and a harbor-shack) in Great Harbor. And MJ, do you get to Vineyard Sound through Robinsons' or Quicks's or Cuttyhunk? Or do you just follow the fast ferry through Woods Hole Passage? If you're ever coming through in the summer, give me a jingle and I'd be pleased to have a couple cold ones ready.

Dave
