Default BayStar by teleflex Hydro Steering

ANyone have any experience with the teleflex baystar system? This is the hydaulic system for 150hp and under. I was thinking about installing on my 86 V20 (yamaha 150 proV). I found it online, ram, hoses, helm and all, for $489.00. I was a little concerned as 150hp is the highest rating for this product.

I don't like the baystar, the early models had the plastic helm and had problems with tehm, the later modles went to a metal helm but still had the oddball cylinder. I've rebuilt a few of the baystar cylinders and they don't hold up well in salt, and parts for rebuilding the cylinder are high. For the money, I'd rather have the Uflex system, its heaper than the seastar, but works just as good.

Thanks. I just found someone selling the Uflex cylinder only (new in box) for $200 on craigslist. Part number is UC128-OBF cylinder. Im hoping this would fit. I could then pick up the helm and hoses seperate.
