Thumbs down Help finding a past Thread

A while back someone posted where to get those little (1 3/4" diameter) turn latch things that hold the back hatches closed - made out of stainless. I saw some of the Perko potmetal garbage at West Marine for some crazy price - wouldn't put 'em on if the gave them away.

Since tomorrow (the 8th) is my birthday - you guys help me find the info and I won't ask for anything else.

Thanks

They are called door buttons......I had only seen the Perko ones before but now I just searched and found some SS from boatfix.com They are actually cheaper.

They make them with and without a spring. Without a spring you have to find the right hardware to attach the black plastic part.

Here's the thread:

Thanks guys - definitely improved my birthday.

Whale - had to laugh - I'm the one who wrote you the essay on screw types in that thread you came up with.

Schools - these sites are going in my favorites right now.

Reel - yeah, it does kind of have that effect:)

Thanks again!!
