Default Problem 4th weekend!!

Well I am off to not a great start this year!! First trip out commercial I lost my new wireless trailer lights, broke my brand new radio att.

Saturday my starter went in my truck, and I had to spend $200 nto get that fixed.

then I took my family out this past weekend (sunday)and motor stalled a few time, was bogging down, and the power tilt and trim motor died!!

Then I went Fluking today and got the worst numbers ever!! 58 pounds:( On top of that I made a custom rod for Fluke in 2001, had it all redone this winter after 1000's of fish, and the thing went over the side today and sunk to the bottom, with a new Penn reel.

Well all wasn't a total loss, I called BS and told him of the motor problem sunday night, and Monday after he got out of work he came over and checked thing out, well long story short we went to his house and worked till 12 midnight to get things stright, so i could be in the water this morning for a comercial day.
Well the boat ran perfect and the new trim motor is perfect!!

THANKS BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounded like a tough start but at least not all was lost! well maybe that flukin rod was but at least not everything else. Knock on wood I hope I dont need Big Shrimpin's help anytime soon but its great to know there is a resource out there for us..... great job BS....good luck with your commercial fishing for the rest of the season.

You're just an accident waiting to happen.
Such a drama queen.

BS is a stand up guy...I hope you gave him some fresh flatty meat MJ. Look at it this way - you are just getting the bugs out. Should be smooth sailing from here on.

Also if you haven't sent a nice rod/reel to Davey Jones Locker, then you aren't a true fisherman. I've sent at least 3. Actually 4 if you count the one we lost last trip out....it wasn't mine.

Its just like fouls in basketball IMO. Chit happens.

Hey one time a dam dredging operation wedged me up against a dock as I was passing through a channel. I broke one rod in half on the dock and the rear bimini strap got hung and snapped in half as well. That was one heck of a close encounter! The dude had the diesel engine on that thing maxxed out and he was still pushing in on me! Cleaned my drawers and went fishing anyway.
