Rev. Al Sharpton will be in Savannah tonight in an effort to raise money for the children of a man police killed in an incident they have called unfortunate but lawful. Andrew Davis will be live from downtown for a preview of the event and we'll continue our coverage of Sharpton's visit throughout the night on THE News.

I wasn't able to attend the good reverend's fund raising event; I have to work for a living.
Too bad his schedule was too busy for him to lend a helping hand to the Duke lacrosse team boys awhile back.

I see Nifong will spend one day in jail, about 2000 short of what he deserves. BTW, remember the same people that put Nifong in office put John Edwards in also. And they're getting about the same results. Well , at least Nifong shows up for work once in a while
