Default Winter doldrums?

Are they setting in already? Awfully quiet in here.
Question for everybody;
What are you planning to do over the winter to keep your sanity?
We're all done up here in the Northeast. Another coating of snow last night and close to freezing rain today. I've already cleaned most of my reels and tackle. I'm planning on wrapping a couple of new rods this winter as a project.

And another question;
What are youz guys hoping Santa brings you?
A shiney new boat? Yeah, yeah that's what I want. ;D

Well...........................?????????

Yes CB the winter doldrums have set in. *I've already taken care of my birthday, and Christmas gifts. *Next I'm going after my father's day present. *In early November I went to the local tackle shop where I found two dipsy diver rods at a reduced price One for my B-day the other for Xmas. *My brother inlaw and I plan to go after some Lake Erie steelhad next year. *I'll need two more rods and reels to make my steelhead set ups complete. *That's father's day and maybe I should get myself an Easter present too. *Then I'll need all the tackle to go along with the rods. *No snow to stay yet here in Detroit but we've got 50MPH gust going on tonight. *MJ why not 9 Months at 70*. *Need some cold weather for Deer hunting. *My oldest got an eight pt weighing in at 165#s dressed out. *Here's a photo! *Bill Mc

I bought a 1.5 hp Johnson and the corresponding manuals and me and my 4 year old are going to tear it down and put it back together in the garage. That way we'll be even better at working on my gem of a Sea Drive together in the spring!

The winter doldrums are starting to set in. The snow, no wait, that's right, I moved to Florida 21 years ago. Sorry guys, today it was 80 degrees and I had lunch at sunny Port Canaveral. My bad. ;)
