In the redfish post, I said we had picked up some crabs, but not enough to make a meal.
Well, yesterday we went out for a couple of hours and while I fished, wife picked up 10 more so had enough to pick out. ![]() these are the bodies after cleaning top shell, guts and trimming mouth and legs ![]() this is the body after steaming ![]() this is the body cut in half horizontally, exposing the inner chambers of legs ![]() my favorite, claws prepped and ready for frying ![]() the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, about a pound of fresh crabmeat lotta work, but so much better than the pasteurized canned stuff |

Phat, you should never post pictures of crabs on this site especially when I'm hungry , you should give a warning
These pictures are for mature people who are not Hungry. If you look at these pictures. , do it at your own risk, you have been warned P.S. Where is the cross and Blackwell seafood sauce? My mouth is watering, thanks phat.

I love crabs and yours really looked delicious.
I was going to post this yesterday, but got caught up doing something. Those crabs made me hungry for my crabs.
