Does anyone have any experience with this boat? I saw this listing and am waiting for info on the motor. Thanks

Assuming there's nothing wrong with the engine, that's a lot of boat for the money. Very nice find.

Motor looks like a Suzuki 140 4 stroke. I have 1600 hours on mine from 2002 and haven't had any problems that I haven't been able to fix. I can give mine a full tuneup in about an hour and a half because of how it is all laid out.

It does seem to be a nice find.

Weird part is that the owner wants to use onlinelawnsales.com to run the purchase/sale. The website looks legit and it sure seems like a great business model but requires I buy the boat and then examine it ... They claim I have one week to examine the item and return if it doesn't comport with the description. Weird but I think I'll take the gamble.

Oh, and the other weird thing is that the pictures of the Suzuki are apparently old. He says he replaced it with a Mercruiser 3.0 and that the Mer has less than 70 hours on it. Number one, the pictures don't show a Merc and number two I'm wondering if that 135 hp motor is underpower for this boat ... Then again, I only take the kids cruising, tubing and fishing not skiing so do I can get by without huge hp and think of the gas mileage ... :)

NOT POSSIBLE!!!! A Mercruiser is an I/O engine/outdrive unit. Unless he cut thru the transom there's no way he put a Mercruiser on it. And if he put a Merc 3.0 outboard on it then it should fly!!!!!

As to the underpowered, I believe there is someone on this site that runs a 115 Merc. It doesn't go all that fast, but it gets up on plane and he goes 27mph normally. I'm thinking that a 135 should get you into the low 30's without any trouble. And 200HP+ should get you into the 50mph club without any real problems.
