Around here water temp in the creeks are around 43. Any visible bait in the clear water down to 4' is none. Most reports are pitiful unless you get out 10 miles or so to fairly warmer waters say above 50 degrees.
Ain't had the boat out since November, time for a change.

Got up over here 40 yesterday, but the water is still solid in some places. The rockfish went to NC almost a month ago and the tog don't bite much when water temps drop below 40. I think I'm going fishing in a lake today. Gotta get out!

If you count launching, then yes I was out on the water yesterday. Just had the engine & lower unit serviced, impeller swapped out and bottom painted, and back into the water she went. I only had time to run her up the creek a few miles and back, tie up and flush the engine before I had to get home to watch my beloved Packers! It was sunny, low 50s and calm. I hope to get out next weekend.

Man i'm itching at going out.. I was about to on sunday, but as soon as i got up to pull the 180 out of the garage the temp started dropping... I've not run mine since 09.. It was at my parents house up until they moved and they were using it up in Morehead City, and I had my beater 95 190 CCF Wellcraft for bouncing off the logs in the Waccamaw.
