87 v in Charleston
a good freind of mine is putting his v project up for sale, its an 87 set up for an I/O(Merc). He has had a couple of set backs, and between his age, and lack of time to work on it or use it, he has decided to let it go to a better home. It has an Alpha transom plate in it, and has motor mounts for a V8. He is a boat mechanic by trade and could come up with several different options for power if interested. The port side, side glass is broken(neighbors kid), and it has a couple of soft spots in the floor, transom seems to be solid, trailer is a bit rough, but usuable. Boat really needs a bath. If anyone is interested, this boat could be bought real reasonable, you could fix it up as an I/o, or would be a good begining for a bracket/OB set up, send me a pm, and I'll set up an apointment to see the boat, I'll try to get pics this week.
