Default Found the leak!

I took off the starboard side rod boxes to clean and paint which gave me a good look at the fuel fill and vent connection and.....the vent nipple had completely corroded of leaving the vent hose dangling. Gee, I wonder where that gas was coming from. Go ahead and say it...I know. Stupid rookie mistake. I'm glad though, I've learned more about boat repair in the last month and had a blast. Finished glassing the fuel hatch tonight and began removing old wires. Tank's coming Wed. and I'm almost done digging foam. Gonna replace fuel hose and vent hose tomorrow night. Got my Bluesea system stuff today and wires. Repaint rod boxes with grey Durabak and clean teak. Sand and Durabak deck grey. Replace chairs with flybridge bench on the port side and single leaning post at helm. Mount jet ski boom and winch on bow....just kidding. Been slack on the pics but I have a whole bunch on the way!
