Help!
Everything is going great on my restoration except for one thing- the bilge from the bow and center of the boat will not drain to the stern. I have cut an inspection hole in the bottom of the center well and found a solid bulkhead in front of the gas tank with a PVC pipe sealed through it running from bow to stern. Where did the water from the cabin and center well drains go originally? What was the purpose of the pipe? How can I fix it? Enquiring minds want to know. |

The pipe is your sluice to allow water to run back to the stern. Probably blocked with years of crud. Get an electricians snake and try to snake it out before you do any drastic cutting or anything. ;)

depending on the pipe size you might also wanna try a small size drain snake
