Whew! Finally got the pic to work. That was a process. LOL.

If you get a new windshield and you have the parts I am looking for on your old one, let me know, please please please.

In the meantime, do you have any ideas how to keep this secure till I find the part?

your decimal is off a bit....lol. In all seriousness, If I end up having to dismantle her I'll sell off parts. The good stuff, like the windshield, the frame, the slider, teak, doors etc, etc.....gas tank if its good. We shall see...hope not to have to do it but..........

Take a piece of 3/4 or 1 inch Starboard, wood what ever you might have??
A budy of mine did this to his boat. Run the piece threw a table saw making a grove for the glass to sit in.
Then make it connect to eaither end of the excisting windshield.
Add 5200 or what ever push down onto glass, connect screws and there you go you now have a frame that is strong! Paint gray so it looks like the rest of the frame and from a distance it will never show!!

Thanks for the idea. If nothing else comes up and I can find a table saw, that looks like the way to go.

Not ideal, but the point is to be able to fish without parts of the boat falling off.
