Hammer, are you thinking of using this on your transom.? I've always been told that gel coat will not adhere to epoxy. I think you are going to have to paint.

Hey Hammer, when I did my transom my neighbor color matched the gel with car paint and cleared over it with Emron clear. Its super hard and very durable, and shines like glass. He painted it over the original gel and the spots I fixed with polyester resin. Dont know about epoxy.

Thanks Cfelton. I was told the same thing about using aotomotive paint. Its more affordable. ;)

Oh Hammer, forgot to tell ya he sprayed two coats of primer on before the color.
