Default OMC 225 Carb Jets

Ok guys i guess this qusetion would go in the mod class, I want to modify my carb jets back to original size, so im going to fill em in with solder and drill em back out. I know i need 14s 28s and 62d's! Ok what drill sizes do i need for them sizes ? I thought they were the same as the sizes but they r not. Please help AGAIN.............Jeff

you need 14 and 48 sizes and don't try it go buy the correct ones from an OMC dealer

dont think the solder will hold ? and the sizes of the bits i bought that size is not even close to the holes in them

no but you need 14 and 48 by the way i have one from up north it has 14 and 47 in it

my bad, sorry, is the drill bits wire gauge or something else ? cause the 13 i got in wire size is bigger than the jet itself
