Big V - I am assuming that you are searching for replacement recessed horizontal rod racks.

They are horizontal recessed plastic rod holders in the gunnels of my 1984 V 20. The plastic is actually on the inside of the glass supported by some wood strips it must be a bandaid fix from a previous owner. It seems that I have seen the same set up in a few other boats but their rod holders look loke they are one piece with a flange that can be screwed into the glass like the outside of a replacement hatch.

Man, thanks for answering this. This site is the coolest thing. If you know of any company that makes these kind of things please let me know.

Mine have cracks in them also. I remember seeing on this site info about a company that can make replacements. Do a search for "rod holder" I think you will find the info.

I'm replacing my thru hull fittings today with stainless ones. The plastic ones will get brittle from the sun.
This is something you want to fix before it breaks.

Thanks to all of you. I'll try Mr Gonzolez at Wellcraft Monday and the SS Company from Maryland. I will say that I have owned this boat for five weeks and it has a 175 Mariner on aluminum swim platform. This boat is a sweet ride. Payed $4500 with trailer and newly rebuilt powerhead. She does 35knts at 4800 RPms. It handles the rough stuff. Now I see why they are so popular. I'm hooked. I did have to rewire and replaced all the gauges and starboard dash board. Thanks again Big V.
