Twin 140's on eBay

I guess that answers the question on performance for the twin 140's - 68 mph!?!? Sounds like suicide to me.

Still haven't checked the compression on my twin 140's yet. I did have one running but she didn't water only dribbled out of the tell tell. I only ran it for about 7 seconds for fear of burning the impeller. The motor cranked right up.

Soooo I took a wire and did some poking around. I got some junk out of the hose. Then I dropped the lower unit, replaced the impeller (impeller looked ok). While lower unit was off I tried to force water up through the intake to see if I could get water to come out of the tell tell - it did not. I still have the lower unit off.

Any suggestions?
