Johnson serial/model #?
Can anybody help me figure out the year of a 1.5hp Johnson kicker I just bought? The serial # is E3130765 and the model # is 1R69C. Thanks.

I bought it as a winter project/learning experience. I will take it apart and put it back together at least once to get more comfortable working on my Sea Drive. After all, there aren't many mechanics out there excited to see the Sea Drive in their service department anymore! After looking at the Bombardier-Johnson web page, I found out the motor is a '69.

My boat came with a 150HP Force. *Not too many places want to service Force engines too. *Good Luck on your learning experience. *Bill Mc ;D
