Skool you don't want that big heavy beast. Yeah she's perty and all but dang that's alotta cake for "perty". Not to mention you are lookin at a strictly cruising vessel.

Now, I don't really see the problem if you got money to burn, but our V20's are much more practical IMO.

My father-in-law has one very very similar to that one. He pulls it out about once per season. Too much $$ tied up in that thing no more than they use it, but he really likes old stuff so that's on him. Not for me though.

BUT, they do ride really well on the lake due to the weight and narrow beam.

Now yer talkin! But that's definitely not one of your creations, those look like twin 70's and I know you would've had a pair of 150's on that sized boat ;D

P.S. I agree, nice ICW evening cruise boat.

Here's a photo of my father in law's 1957 17' CC Holiday. Photo is taken on Lake Erie an inland lake would be more suitable, Bill Mc ;D

That picture was taken from my Gruman 16'CC and I could not keep up to her with that boat. My top end with the Gruman was about 22mph. This year when he took her out it almost sank. He swelled the wood up in late July but never dropped her in the water. Labor Day he did. As my wife and I were heading out of the harbour in the V20, they were coming back in, *** end was down and they were bailing. The boards have shrunk back up and it took on water fast. Luckily it did not sink. Lesson was learnt. Bill Mc ;D
