I think you guys are right, Havis. Haven't heard from him in awhile. Seemed like he bought it off of Ebay didn't he?

I remember now,it is Havis, haven't heard much of him lately. Maybe his throttles got stuck wide open and he ended up somewheres past South America. That whole transom/stern was braced up pretty good as I recall, all sorts of angled aluminium,gussets and turnbuckles.Looked like it was plenty strong....better be, thats 700lbs. or better of outboard.

I seem to remember him saying it would do 70+ mph.

What was going on, on THT about the boat?
