I have a 75, do you have the side tanks X 2?? I am sure you do.

Take them out, its not hard to do, remove the sending unit and you will have 2+" hole there, wash out with water, degreaser what have you, make sure that you rinse well!!
Set in the sun to dry foe a day re assamble with all new hoses and cleaned vents.
Change the filters, one inline and one on the motor, if OB. Check and replace ball pump.

On a scale of 1 to 10 this is a 3 for hardness, because of the fill hoses. They can be a bit of a pain.

one day job, but 2 for the dry time.

Now you ready to go!!

Heres what I found in my tanks, and alot of dirt also!

Yes, one is a bottle from a Marine Tex Hardner. I belive the chain and the wire are from a old gas tank cover that held the cover on till the chain let go.
As for the tape and clamp. Your guess is as good as any?? I bought it this way.
