Default here we are again...........

well gents, it's that time of year again. today has always been my favorite holiday. and while year after year our table gets a little smaller, it's still one of my favorite days. I hope you all spend the day with loved ones, overeating and watching football and basking in the glow of family and friends. it seems we lose more loved ones with each passing year but I guess that's why it's more important then ever to spend the holidays with the ones we still have. we will be doing the dual holiday, as with most every year, one side of the family, then the other. thankfully all within 3 miles of home and each other. I wish for you all, everything you wish for yourselves as well as peace and good health for the coming year.
enjoy. enjoy. enjoy.

Thanks Charlie - well said. I wish the same for you and the rest of the guys & gals here. We’ll have 13 around the table today and I’m very thankful for a close family.

I’m also very thankful for our V20 community - I feel a family kind of connection here too. I almost always check in here before dozing off at night. We have a unique thing here.

Very true, Charlie. We made it the annual trek to in-laws in South Georgia. Very good to get away and do normal things for a while.

Some things remain the same

We eat too much and always burn the bread.

Well said Charlie! It was a good day here in NC. We had all three kids, their spouses and all 6 grandkids, a house full! Just found out we've got another grandchild on the way! Helped the wife cook all the usual, turkey, dressing, gravy, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, collards w/ ham, homemade rolls, smoked country ham, pies and chocolate éclair cake. Ate leftovers today, got more for work tonight. Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving too! Its all about being thankful for family, friends and good health. I feel truly blessed to have it all! Thank all yall for all the advise, personal and boat help through the years! I wish I could have had all yall over to eat and take a shot of shine with me! I hope you all have a happy healthy stress free year ahead and happy V20 boating to you all! You all are the Best!!
